Mark Hannan is our full-time youth director. For the current activities, check out the youth web pages and the Youth Bulletin Board just outside the youth room. Both have information about upcoming events and photos from past events. The bulletin board also has a calendar for you to write games, dance recitals, concerts, or any special event that involves you. Stop by and put your birthday up!
Our PEER MINISTER program recruits youth to be caring leaders, listeners, and peace-makers.
Starlights. If you're in grades K-5 there's no better place to be on Wednesdays for an exciting time chock full of games, stories, camp songs, crafts, and skits! Our weekly elementary program happens Wednesdays from 5-6pm at church.
Middle School
High School. Come for a laid back time in the new youth room... every Sunday morning, 9:30-10:30. This time is for anyone who has been confirmed. The activities for the year will be defined by those who attend the first few Sundays of the fall.
The youth committee at Good Shepherd has embarked on a plan to add to our programming, and also to create facilities designed to actively engage our youth, and increase their participation in our congregation.
This plan includes a well-equipped Youth room, outdoor sports equipment, and monies to help fund mission activities.
September, 2005, Update. The tangible results, so far, are the new Youth room. Thanks to everyone who contributed funds, particpated in Youth Sunday, and helped with the construction of our new youth room. The overwhelming response from our congregation has made some great things possible for our youth. Here's a progress report of accomplishments using the donated funds:
