Youth Room Guidelines:  Mark and Rita have developed a great set of ducuments that are posted in the rack on the fridge.  They include:

·         Clean up policy / sign up

·         Youth Room Upkeep

The upkeep form is in need to volunteers to purchase supplies on an ongoing basis.  Becky will look for volunteers, and the committee will fill in the remaining slots.

Sr High Sunday Morning Group:  Ken reported all is going well for he and Sue Lee.  They have 4-7 regulars each week and a variety of drop in people as well.  It seems like a good outlet our Sr. High women have been looking for.

Confirmation Lock In: April 7-8 7:00PM – 7:00AM looking into doing an event at the RAC, have contacted Anna Stroud for more info.  After we set up that activity Mark will put together the remainder of the program.  Justin and Brett Lucas will cook the breakfast, and Justin volunteered Andy and Katelyn to work as well.  Jackie and Gayleen have signed up to work the event.  Becky will work to coordinate volunteers once the schedule is established by Mark.

30 Hour Famine:  April 28-29-30 theme this year is Fast4Food. Jackie and Mark will coordinate to do the temple talk.  Volunteers will be needed so we have at least 2 for the duration of the fast.  Mark had organizational meeting with the group at Mr Pizza, all very motivated, we decided that participants will be asked to pay a $15 registration fee.

Confirmation Retreat: May 5-6-7 Jeff will be holding a meeting to coordinate activities, volunteers, and fund raising.

Sr. High Activity: discussions took place on having a hot tub night, Jeff will be looking into the cost of renting a Hot Tub.

Projector:  Our projector has shown it’s last big screen movie L Looking into cost of a new one approximately $575.  Becky will contact the technology and fellowship committees and see if they would consider sharing the costs.

Work Day:  Becky will work with Mark to pin down a date to do a work day.  It will help kids earn service hours, we will coordinate with landscape committee and clean up day, also will work to coordinate a fun lunch to boot.  This will probably happen when Mark is gone so we will need someone to coordinate this event.

Substitute teachers

We are asking teachers to identify Parents who can teach there class for the day.

Program

We would like to give special thanks to some teachers who aren’t planning on teaching next year, for there years of hard work.

We would like to not only thank the teachers at the brunch, but build up some momentum for next years teaching themes and goals.

Goals for education and Sunday School Theme

We are still talking about a theme, but would like to emphasize class service projects, and helping the children apply what they have learned in Sunday School to their everyday lives.  Mona is going to put together a Service Project Idea Board.  Other areas that we see as Sunday School goals are basic Bible skills and building relationships.
