Worship Committe

 

Goal #1

Sanctuary Chairs (replacing all older chairs with new/matching chairs)

Goal #2

Pouring Chalices & Trays (receive new or improve existing pouring chalices for communion and make/revise new trays for cups)

Goal #3

Youth Led Services (work with Youth Committee)

Goal #4

Organ Dedication Concert (after Phase 2 is completed)

Property Committee's 2005 goals

1.  Install a humidifier for the church.

2.  Power to the amphitheater also stain and spruce it up a bit.

3.  Parking light system improvement

4.  Purchase a floor polisher for the church to eliminate the expensive cost to redo the floors.

5.  Establish a dumpster for trash outside of the church.

Continue staff support and maintain clear communication between committee and staff by having each committee member meet with assigned staff member twice yearly to discuss job satisfaction and review any concerns of staff member or congregation.

Review and make recommendation for personnel budget.

Implement process to review/assess staff performance.

Continue to work on development of leadership abilities of staff in conjunction with Adult Education Committee.

  1. Carry out Visioning Plan.
  2. Census of Rochester area for planning purposes.

 

Education Committee 2005 Goals:

 

  1. Increase committee size
  2. Use technology to communicate more with teachers and parents
  3. Look at alternative Sunday School structures (rotation)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adult Education Committee 2005 Goals:

 

  1. Form a committee; recruit members

 

Technology Committee 2005 Goals:

 

  1. Simplify sound system
  2. Keep equipment working when staff needs it.

 

Fellowship Committee 2005 Goals:

 

  1. Increase # of committee members
  2. More annual events
  3. Summer Wednesday theme events

 

Evangelism Committee 2005 Goals:

  1. Living Water (hand out water bottles at Rochesterfest)
  2. Music on the Hill
  3. Reach out to new church members
