We the Education Committee, Staff, and members of GSLC acknowledge the fact that growing in faith is a life-long process beginning at baptism and involving all ages in a variety of learning experiences throughout their lives. Participating in worship with the whole people of God is a key ingredient in the Christian development of our children.
We recognize parents to be the primary teachers of faith and values for their children. It is the Church's responsibility to support parents and to provide them with the tools necessary for this important task.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all the commands I have given you and know that I am with you always, even to the end of the world." (Matthew 28:19-20)
