It's time to pull
out those comfort food recipes. Lent is coming up the end of
this month and that means homemade soup at GSLC. Please join us on
Wednesday evenings during lent for soup and bread supper before worship
service. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex, please sign up to bring
your favorite soup one week. This is a good time to show off your
culinary talents.
Good Shepherd has
need for donated toys in two areas of our ministry. First, we are looking for small toys for the

GSC is also looking for a Little Tykes (or comparable brand) kitchen
set for the nursery. The previous kitchen
set needed to be tossed out following a pipe overflow in the nursery. Please call Mike in the church office if you
are willing to donate this item.
Did you know – that
the new ELW book makes a wonderful devotion book? The Daily Lectionary is found on page
1121. Our bible readings are divided
into a 3-year cycle (A, B & C). This
year, our Sunday readings are from Cycle C.
The daily readings are found on page 1143 and make a wonderful resource
for our daily study. Check it out!
