Good Shepherd is updating its Pictorial Directory and we’d truly like
you to be a part of this exciting program!
We’ve added an online registration from our church website. It’s fast,
easy and convenient. You can make your
appointment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Here’s how it works:
1. Go to the website, www.goodshepherdchurch.net
2. Click on the church directory
icon
3. Follow directions to the right
Note: If you include you email address, you will get both a confirmation and
reminder email of your appointment. You
can rest assured that your email address is never given out to anyone. Registration will also be available at the
church during this weekend’s
services. During that time, the
online sign-up will be disabled. Online
sign-ups will then resume on Monday, October 16.
Next week’s Simple Supper (Wednesday, October 18) is cancelled due to

Confirmation Webpage
Parents, this week in Confirmation your students received information and a log-in for the Confirmation webpage (www.hwsstudent.org). Not only does this site have a lot of features that students should enjoy but it also will be a tool to keep you informed of upcoming events and will be the main medium for student make-up work. Please check with your student regarding this information and look for a parents’ letter.

or complete one of the forms available in the Narthex and place it in the box

Open communication between congregation
members, church council, committees, and staff is vital to the health of our congregation. Communication helps to hold our church family
together. Your elected leaders feel that
the suggestion box is not as effective at enabling an open dialog of communication
as it was originally intended. And
because of this, we are going to discontinue use of the suggestion box and
focus on improving the direct communication of the congregation and the church
council.
If you have any
ideas or suggestions to help improve things here at GSC, please share them with
one of your elected council members. The
names of the council members, along with a photo and contact information are
posted on the bulletin board in the narthex.
They would be happy to talk with you in-between services or you can give
them a call and talk with them at other times as well. We will also be continuing to look for other
ways that we can improve communication within our church family.
If you have any questions, please feel free
to contact me.

Good Shepherd is launching one
or two faith/life discussion small groups for people in their 20’s and
30’s. We will watch short films, have
discussions, make faith and life connections, eat food and hang out. Are you interested? Please contact Mark Hannan or Pastor Dave at
the church office.
