marks the final event in the Wild Wednesday’s schedule. Gather around the
campfire at GSLC for “Bonfire & S’mores.” Youth Director Mark Hannan
will be on hand to play guitar and lead everyone in some favorite camp

Smile! The recent changes in staff and the
addition of new members make this a perfect time for a new GSLC pictorial directory.
We have one person who is willing to co-chair the organizing of this effort.
Would you be willing to be the other half of that team? Call Volunteer Coordinator
Vicky Mulvihill (281-3052) or Office Administrator Mike Thilges (289-1748) if
you are interested in helping to organize this important part of GSLC’s
ministry.

This fall as we have baptisms, please bring some water
from home. In baptism we are named as children of God and the church
family promises to teach, mentor and share the faith with the newly baptized.
A way of representing these promises is to bring water from home and add it to
the pitcher which is sitting on the baptismal font. God will act through
these community waters offering the promise of forgiveness and new life.
Thanks be to God.

The technology committee has
begun expanding some of the services available on the Good Shepherd website (http://goodshepherdchurch.net).
The
first feature that has been introduced is a blog where Pastor Dave can post
things (http://goodshepherdchurch.net/pdblog) that he thinks others may find
interesting such as expansions on the weeks sermon.
There
are other things that we have in the works such as a bulletin board for anyone
to bring up things to discuss and a multimedia section for posting photos,
video, and a mp3 version of the weekly readings and sermon. Please keep
checking the web site for these additional features and please send an email to
tech@goodshepherdchurch.net
with any more things you would like to see on the web or other technology
related featured things.
