Investing in our Youth
Statistics and interviews show that this current generation of young people is more detached from the adult in their lives than any generation that has gone before. Are you someone God is calling to be a role model and friend to our 7th & 8th graders as a confirmation guide? Talk with Mark or Pastor Dave about the need for caring adults to serve as small group leaders for Confirmation.

“RALLY DAY
APPROACHES!”
September
10 marks the official kickoff of our fall ministries at GSC… we will launch the
Sunday School classes, celebrate in worship and look to a fall of reaching out
and serving as God’s disciples. Later on
in the day we will have a hog roast, listen to music, play games and hang out
with friends.
Sound
good? Good!
Who
are you going to invite?
It
has been said that “Programs don’t bring people… people bring people.” Part of our job as a church family is to
invite others to join us, share the Good News and grow the in life and love of
Christ. We can be the most welcoming
congregation in
Incidentally,
we don’t have to wait until September 10th either! We are always
an invitational community. So share the
news, invite and reach out to your friends and neighbors in God’s love. ~PD
