Greeter Guidelines

1. Please wear a nametag. Preprinted nametags are on the back wall of the copier room. If you don't see yours, leave a note on the secretary's desk, and Laurie will make one for you. In the meantime, please use the self-adhesive nametags on the counter.
2. Stand by the main door at the new south entrance on the Narthex side of the double doors.
3. Carry Good Shepherd brochures. These are on the counter in the copier room. Offer these to visitors. Also, direct the visitor to our guest book on the wooden stand near the south entrance.
4. What to say.
   "Good morning and welcome to Good Shepherd"
   "Good morning. My name is _______. Welcome to Good Shepherd."
   "How long have you been coming here?" (This should help you identify visitors.)
5. Shake hands and smile!
