The vision team is hard at work discussing the feedback from the two Congregational Vision Events of this past fall. They have also interviewed community leaders in Rochester and listened to what they understand to be trends and needs in the broader community. With prayers for the guidance of the Spirit, feedback from the Congregational events and the Congregational Conversations, the Vision Team will start to craft statements of Mission and Vision and a list of our Core Values. Our prayer is to have this ready for the Annual Meeting in January. When the work of the Vision Team is done, the Strategic Planning Committee will begin to work throughout the winter and spring to fashion a new Strategic Plan for the ministries of Good Shepherd Church. Please remember to keep the Vision Team and your faith family of Good Shepherd in your prayers through these very exciting times.
